A través de la danza se representa esta lucha por los derechos. Su personaje emblemático, la Adelita, es la mujer valiente que acompañaba al pelotón en la época de Pancho Villa y Emiliano Zapata.
Through this dance we represent the fight for people’s rights. The Revolution’s emblem, the Adelita, was a brave woman that followed the detachments, during Pancho Villa’s and Emiliano Zapata’s times.
